1. Using this website

By using stilesy.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may change these terms; the date at the top shows when. Keep using the site after a change and you accept the new terms.

2. The demo app

• Every business, person, message, review, price and number in the demo is invented. Any likeness to a real business or person is accidental.
• The demo does not send, post, charge or save anything. It is a picture of how our app works, not the app itself.
• The sample websites are design examples, not real businesses.
• Features shown in the demo or listed on this site describe what we build and set up for clients. Which features you get, and when, is set out in your written agreement, not by this website.

3. No promises of results

We do the work, we test ideas and we track what happens. We do not promise you more customers, more sales, more views, more reviews or a place on the first page of Google. Results depend on your offer, your market, your budget and things nobody controls. Any numbers on this site are examples of how the app shows information, not results we have achieved for anyone.

4. Client work

• Paid work starts only after a written agreement that sets out the scope, the price, the timing, who owns what, what support is included and how either side can end it.
• Set-up fees cover the agreed first job. Monthly fees cover the agreed ongoing work. Costs charged by other companies (domains, hosting, text messages, card fees, ad spend) are shown separately and passed on at the agreed rate.
• You keep ownership of your business name, your content, your customer list and your domain. We keep ownership of our own software, templates and tools, and give you a licence to use them while we work together.
• You approve every post, email campaign, text campaign and spend before it goes out. We never publish on your behalf without that approval.
• If we part ways, you can export your customer data, and we hand over your website files and domain access as set out in the agreement.

5. Your responsibilities

• Only give us content you have the right to use. That includes photos, videos, music and claims about your business.
• Only ask us to message people who have agreed to hear from you. We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and will say no to lists that do not meet it.
• Keep your own logins safe. Tell us straight away if you think an account has been misused.
• Do not use our site or services for anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful to others.

6. Our content

The words, design, code, images and logos on this site belong to Stilesy or are used with permission. You may read and share links to the site. You may not copy the site, the demo or the design to sell as your own.

7. Links to other sites

We link to other websites, such as government guidance. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the consumer guarantees, where they apply to you. If a service we provide fails to meet a guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides.

9. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profits, lost data or lost business, arising from your use of this website or the free demo. For paid work, our liability is set out in your written agreement and, where the law allows, is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. It forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute is handled in Queensland courts, after we have first tried in good faith to sort it out between us.
